NSKS Backpacks For Back To School

Our program collects new backpacks and school supplies for families trying to live on minimum wage, staying at our shelters, or coming to the soup kitchen for food. The NSKS staff works diligently with our client families to provide eligible children (Grade Kindergarten through 12th Grade) with a new backpack filled with new, grade-appropriate supplies.

We depend on our community to collect and donate the items needed from our Backpack Supply List to help our children in need. We will need volunteers to help us sort, organize, assemble and distribute the backpacks. Our Backpack Supply List, donation information and dates for volunteer opportunities to help us with the NSKS Backpacks for Back to School program will be posted on this page by mid-June.
