Donations of non-perishable food, new and gently used household goods, and other essentials are needed on an ongoing basis. Please help us comply with Health Department guidelines by checking expiration dates on food donations.

Pantry Items

Most-Needed Pantry Items:

  • Dried Beans- any type, any size package
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned Protein (chicken, tuna, etc.)
  • Cereal- any type, brand, or size, hot or cold
  • Soup- any brand, flavor (broth or hearty), canned, boxed
  • Pasta- any type or brand
  • Rice
  • Shampoo- opened or unopened
  • Toilet Paper- any size packages; families are given one roll
  • Body Wash or Soap
  • Toothpaste and Tooth Brushes
  • Diapers, size 5 especially needed
  • Deodorant

Fall & Winter Items

Items must be new or gently used and freshly washed. Socks and underwear must be new. Opened packages are accepted.

  • Socks (winter-weight or plain cotton)- all sizes, NEW ONLY
  • Underwear- all sizes, NEW ONLY
  • Hand warmers

“The cold weather is on its way out, and we are totally out of storage space. We are NOT accepting any more COATS, MITTENS, HATS, SCARVES, GLOVES or JACKETS. Do not bring any more to us, please.”

Garden Items

We can always use garden supplies for our outdoor garden boxes. Please note, we are an organic garden so all materials and seeds MUST be ORGANIC. We are happy to accept used garden supplies in good, useable condition.

  • Cinder Blocks (used to plant flowers along the outside of our garden beds)
  • ORGANIC composted cow manure
  • ORGANIC soil
  • Financial donations to purchase specific items for the garden

Birthday Program

We created a Birthday Program to provide new toys and gifts for children having a birthday who are staying in our shelters, or whose families do not have the resources to celebrate their special day. We accept gift cards and financial donations to local party supply stores and toy retailers. When donating, let us know your donation is for the Birthday Program!

Items, unless stated otherwise, may be gently used. Please make sure used items are clean and in good condition.

  • Underwear; all sizes— NEW
  • Pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and flatware
  • Towels
  • Blankets
  • Twin-sized and Full-sized sheets
