Our 25th Anniversary Gala — A Night to Remember!
The Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter (NSKS) extends a heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our 25th Anniversary Raising Hope Gala a resounding success! Thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and attendees, we surpassed our fundraising goal of $250,000! This one night helps cover a substantial part of our operating budget and allows us to continue providing nutritious meals, safe shelter, and sustainable pathways to stability for local individuals and families in need.
Gala attendees also responded enthusiastically to our Fund-A-Need, donating $90,000 toward the purchase of a refrigerated food van for a new Mobile Food Pantry operation, enabling us to deliver fresh produce and groceries to struggling and isolated neighborhoods across Greater Nashua.
The outpouring of support we experienced could not have come at a more critical time. Families who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other benefits that make ends meet, are facing overwhelming uncertainty about where their next meal will come from. Many of these SNAP recipients are turning to NSKS for help. Thanks to the compassion of our community, we are ready to meet that need.
