Our Ongoing Projects
In addition to the meals we serve and the shelter we provide, NSKS also has a number of ongoing projects that help further our mission to end hunger and homelessness in the greater Nashua area. Our current projects are:
How Can I Help?
All of our projects require help from our community to succeed — either volunteer help or financial contributions.
If you are interested in assisting with the Spring Street Forward project, contact Susannah Abbott, Director of Development, at susannah@nsks.org.
If you would like to get involved with our Gardens, there are a number ways to help. You can donate organic soil, assist with garden upkeep, or make a financial contribution to keep our gardens planted. If you are interested in helping with the Gardens, please contact June Lemen, Community Outreach Coordinator, at june@nsks.org.
If you would like to assist with the Backpack Project — either by organizing a drive to purchase backpacks or supplies, or help on the days that backpacks are assembled, please contact Sierra Hubbard, Case Manager, at sierra@nsks.org.
Our Next Project…
The Backpack Project will be gearing up in August. If you are interested, contact Sierra Hubbard, at sierra@nsks.org.
