NSKS 2017 Annual Fundraisers

Events to look forward to in 2018

 21, 20
18 - Empty Bowls - Created by the Nashua High School Art Deptartment Honor Society and hosted by Nashua High School South in the Cafeteria.

The Empty Bowls Project is an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. The Nashua High School Art Honor Society has been doing both to benefit the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter for over 20 years!

For this wonderful community event, the students and others make more than 600 ceramic bowls, secure donations of food, drink and bread from local establishments and solicit donations for the accompanying silent auction.

April 2018 - Run for Food and Shelter -  Voted one of the best road races in New Hampshire! Join in the fun at our 5K Run, 10K Run, 3K Walk or our famous Kid's Sprint! Form a Corporate Team to participate in our 5K NSKS Dell Cup Challenge.

This is one of our major fundraisers with all proceeds supporting the programs here at Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

July 2018 - Memorial Day in May - Bag Hungerä - The Nashua Soup Kitchen and Shelter teams up with your favorite local stores to bag hunger! You can select a coupon for $2, $5, or $10 at participating grocery stores. 100% of all donations collected will go to the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter.

When you are shopping with your kids, it provides a good opportunity to help them understand how your family helps others in need. Talking about it with the clerk can also help educate the person next to you in line about folks who are hungry in our community.
