Pantry Wish List for AUGUST
Please help us comply with Health Department guidelines by
checking expiration dates on food donations. Thank you!
Our Food Pantry is open Monday - Friday, 11AM - 2:45PM
Families and individuals can come in once a month for a food box
and twice a week for perishable items which may include
fruits, vegetables, breads, bakery and miscellaneous items .
 
 

Our Top Ten most-needed items are:

1. Cereal - any type, brand or size, hot or cold

2. Soups, any brand, flavor (broth or hearty), canned, boxed

3. Canned Fruits (any type or brand)

4. Toilet Paper - any size packages; families are given one roll

5. Shampoo, any brand

6. Body Wash or Bars of Soap

7. Toothpaste

8. Diapers, especially needed are size 5

9. Deodorant for men or women

10. Diapers - Large or X-Large - any brand

Please note-- a family or individual can request a toiletry bag once a month. That bag is filled with whatever donations we have that day, based on what we all would need to start our day--- like shampoo, conditioner, body wash or soap, deodorant, lotion, razors, shaving cream, toothbrush & toothpaste. We also include one roll of toilet paper, if we have it to give. Please consider having a toiletry drive at your place of business, place of worship or even ask a gathering of friends. It would be greatly appreciated.

 

Our supplies are low and demand is high.

We also except donations of Adult Incontinence Supplies.

SHELTER Needs

Underwear!

not very glamorous but very much needed at our shelters....

all sizes for men, women, girls and boys are needed.

Although many items we take are gently used, we ask that all donations of underwear be NEW.

Birthday or Anniversary PARTY!
 
Our Birthday Room Wish List

1. Great 'tween suggestion from a donor: a gift card for bowling, glow bowling or the movies. Enough for the Birthday child and a friend to have fun!

2. Board games. New books. And anything else you think kids might enjoy!

3. Baby Dolls, Duplo building                                                                                        blocks, Tonka-type trucks

We created a Birthday Room to provide new toys and gifts for children having a birthday who are staying in our shelters or whose families have no resources to celebrate it! We also collect party plates, hats, napkins and candles. Have birthday supplies left over from your own child's party? Drop them off! We can use them!

Drop your Leftovers off at the Nashua Soup Kitchen! We accept donations as long as they have not been served to a guest, or for restaurants, have not left the service window. Please don't think "It's not enough to bother donating"! We feed about 200 people A DAY. We also appreciate any extra salad dressings you may have. Call and speak with our kitchen manager, Shane, (889-7770, ext 16) if you have questions or are wondering when you can drop something off. Thank you!
